Unit 12: Audience & Branding
It is really important that you understand the needs of clients when you work with them. We often set both year 1 & 2 students up with audience related tasks asking them to recreate a new advertising poster for a famous brand. At The Edge you will develop the brand concept, source your materials, shoot the advert on location or in our studio and then design the final advertisement.
Unit 8: Final Year Project: Penny Snow Campaign Viral Labour Party
End of Year Show Promo – Bounce Vintage
1st year student Madison collaborated with Folkestone based vintage clothing retailer Bounce to direct, shoot and edit this promo video which featured in our summer last summer show.
Unit 8: Experimenting with brands in Final Major Project unit.
1st year student Maisie using a combination of portrait and product photography product to help her achieve this Ted Baker poster as part of her unit 8.
Unit 7: Urban Outfitters
1st year student Amberlie experimenting with brand and audience with her perfectly executed time based video. As usual Amberlie developed storyboard concept, shot and edited the video herself. We often forget how difficult these shoots are as you need to organise location, models and props, never mind shooting the video. Well done Amberlie.
